This exhibit is going to be a huge success with children and adults. I explored the first day of previews and they were still busy working. A very good friend of mine, Jason, is connected to this exhibit and I could not wait to see it. GG doesn’t disappoint. They have thought of everything, the windmills turn, the billboards in Times Square are videos, the gondola glides along the canal, Mount Vesuvius has a thundercloud that hovers and lightening strikes, trains move. You get the point. You have to really pay attention while looking at the exhibits because shenanigans are happening all over the place. I am definitely looking forward to going back and seeing it when it is completed, with a working airport. They will also be set up for private events. Can’t you just see throwing a birthday or company party with a travel theme?
Here are just a few photos to tantalize….

And as you can imagine it takes many model builders and lots of technical people to keep the exhibits moving and lighting up. You can see them busy working inside a glass enclosed booth.

If you are a breastfeeding mom they have these pretty cool mamava pods if you feel like you need some privacy and a place to sit down. Or just a little quiet time.

This is a 3D printer that will “Gulliverize” you and make a model that you can pay to have put in one of the exhibits. Check it out!

And with so much talk about the Supreme Court – guess what? They have a model of it, along with many of the other Washington highlights.
When the exhibit is officially open it will be a visual oasis with buttons to push, information to learn and some good old fashion family fun.
This screen says it all.

and they have a great gift shop.
